  • About: I started programming around 1998, first learning HyperCard and quickly moving on to REALbasic, releasing various bits of software under the banner of "Freak Software". After having a long stint at the former Mac powerhouse website ResExcellence.com writing weekly REALbasic tutorials, writing the Q&A column for REALbasic Developer Magazine, and even doing some contract work with REAL Software, I moved on to Cocoa around 2004. The first Cocoa app I started working on began life as WebWorkBench, a programmer's text editor, now known as Araelium Edit (which is in constant development, and not due for a public release for quite some time.) During the last semester at California State University in Long Beach while earning my degree in Computer Science, I wrote Screenflick (originally known simply as Screencast) which has become a successful screen recording application for Mac OS X. I am currently the sole developer of Araelium Group, a software company I started focused entirely on Mac OS X software. Screenflick is the only product being sold at the moment, with Araelium Edit in a state of seemingly permanent development, and a yet-to-be-announced product in active development.
