Anyways, I think that Dim3 really needs a B&C bar you can drag, Dim3 has a wierd way of making the models and stuff appear annoyingly low contrast. I'd love it if you (Brian) could add that so we could have more vibrant colors. When I look at my models in Wings 3d, the models are crisp with great colors, but the model seems to become a lot brighter and the quality drops. This applys for all models I've imported.
Alex, when you have higher graphic the contrast is fine. I am on my sis's iMac like yours now and I tried playing it on low gfx and I noticed the contrast. You can try adjusting the Gama bar for brightness, but as for contrast, that's all in the Texture Detail.
Okay thanks man!

Coming back to here: For sure, Brian. This is needed. Remember how i asked you about changing the lighting in that email? Well let's try a contrast bar first. I have a feeling this will turn up with what I'm looking for.
If that's not it is there a way to just do the 'Lighting Contrast'? I would like to try a editor-settable lighting contrast per-map... Just brainstorming some ideas which might be faster than changing the lights to how I asked before, yes?
Maybe also an option to reduce color depth.. Might speed up things a little...
You got that right MacHD. Being able to set model and map color depth to either 16 or 32bit would be great.
No, not the textures... The screen, instead of lowering the resolution, lowering the color depth.
That'll about do it. Brian, it seems we have a request here.
