Would wireless work because sometimes other online games that I play have trouble networking because I'm using a wireless network?

Wireless won't necessarly be the problem (other than it's much slower then wired.) You can tell very easily if you can get in or out by the dim3 status page, it'll take you if it's local or external.

That never worked for me. It said "This is a LAN address that can only be hit on the local network" but people could still join. :annoyed:
That's the local IP it's talking about. That doesn't mean the server is local only. If the correct ports are open/forwarded then you can go to your ip ( http://whatsmyip.com ) and the port you specified for dim3 to run under. Once inputted correctly, people can join your server. Brian is there any way for Dim3 to tell your external IP as well?
I got to the status page.

Everything seems to be in order then. Now I need to test it.
Yes it works on my other computer that's just upstairs though.

But I can't test it on a computer that's far away so can we organize a deathmatch test?
