i like: vertical and at the bottom as a footer or something like that. (:
my last buttons are as big as the tool buttons from c4d. however, i wouldnt mind if they are smaller. but for smaller buttons we need new icons with a bump effect which are fitting to small buttons. or a simple 2d layout like in c4d?

Cinema 4D has about what I'd like. You last posted image is too bright though, make it a darker grey.
hm, i like that grey a lot ):
but ill try a darker one tomorrow
My attempt - vertical tool bar...

Be careful about how far you go with this as there's a good chance if 2.2 ever comes out

in final, after that I might be doing some pretty large edits to Map Editor, but I'm liking what you have so far.
I think first step is just replace icons, then we can think about redesigns further down the road when I have a better idea where I'm going.

i like your icons, but the toolbar looks too much like itunes. i know its directly - but i dont like it :P
maybe you can send me icons so i can stick them on the buttons.
i think the light-icon should stay a light bulb because that could be a lot of more sources of light.
Imon Wrote:hello?
I think I'm going to use them -- but I think I'm going to use them in 2.3 as a redone editor deserves new icons not the old yucky one
I already grabbed a copy -- thanks for all your work. Get back to this after 2.2 and I have the first Editor 2.3 beta.
