open dim3 editor,
then click cancle,
then click file>new.
then give it a name.
give it a first texture.
then type in a number for how big the first portal will be. portals are sections of a map.
division says if you will add lots of segments for the floor, or just 1. if its a indoor map with a flat floor, i recomend 1.
the other stuff for that dialog should be easy.
click the arows on the top of the screen to turn around. note: i would recomend mainly using the ones that face North South East and West.
the different tabs at the top show different veiws, experiment with them.
on the right toolbar the buttons make different segments.
the one that looks like the portal that you just created creates more portals.

But how do you make levels to the same game without using different maps?

what do you mean?
one thing:
the red arrow tests the map, thats one way to play it.
you CAN make different maps for one game, if thats what you mean.
you can also choose which map opens automaticly when you click new game.
or when you enter a portal it opens another map. (you win that level)
almost anything in the engine is changeable. if you make your question more clear i'll give a better answer.

That tutorial no longer exists, as it was terribly out of date. Check out MacMan104's though.
