My brother would like to have cheat code support in the Pirates game. Could this be added, please?
couldn't you just script it?
I think you would need a way to input text. The best way probably is to make a script that activates when you find a secret area in the level.
thats a possibillitiy but couldnt you just create a non visible character (object) that listens to certain undisrupted inputs?
so if you type something like "Sparrow" it changes your visible character's script giving you unlimited lives or something. is that possible?
Right now, there really isn't any way to "enter" text in dim3. I'll see what I can come up with, but if you want something quick, you can always just put in menu items and when you select them, change bits of your scripts.

No, actually you can't. As Brian said, theres no text input except in the setup menu.
btw, Brian, that would be awesome :D. But if you add it make sure theres a way to display the text on the screen as you type.
Can dim3 no if there a two keys pressed at the same time? if so, i would like shift+d to do some cheat
