A request:

First off, none of you owe me anything, so it's not big deal if you turn down this request, it's a free product and it's going to stay that way, so not guilt or anything. Smile

... but ... you guys are making some really nice stuff with some really nice components (like Bink's factory ceiling rails, for instance) that would make great library meshes.

So, if anybody would like to cut up some of their models and give me some separate library meshes, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, no biggie, if so, thanks, and no rush as we've got a ways to go before this version is ready.

Most of them are not UVed, but they are simple meshes, so it shouldn't take long...
Will do. Smile

Bink, I'll uv-map some of them for you if you want.
UV mapping is the easy part. It's texturing them. Both of which I am sure Bink would rather do himself. Simply because he seems to not approve of other people dirtying up his models. Wink Same goes for me.

I have quite a few models I would like to give to you. All textured.
Hi, I've been working on something (Can't say nuthing yet) and while working on a model, I accidentally clicked a button and my model got all weird looking. Smile

It would look better if it was smooth but I forgot to. I guess it's some sort of alien office building...

Actually I was planning to texture the ones I like and release the rest (aka crap) to the public to UV and texture. Smile

Looks like a cave. Wink
On IRC we are coordinating our efforts for some simple free models for the library. Stuff like this I wanted to contribute ever since the idea originally came up:

Very nice. Smile Those are the kinds of models I would use.

Bink, thanks for the reply.
Sent into blender for more texturing/baking. Ground and 1 building textured/baked. The ground was tough because of how the lighting effected it. I had to do some merging between the baked and original textures to get it how I wanted it.
