Can we see a wireframe? I can't really tell what it looks like as most of the texture is black and there is no shading. (I understand the texture is a wip)

Oh yeah I kind of like that idea. :P I incorporate something like it into all my ships for that race to be consistent.

How's the scope supposed to attach to the gun? I'm sure I got it wrong. :|

And whats that huge blocky thing under the scope?
Of coure there are different ways to attach a scope to a weapon, but I've never seen anything like this... it looks weird.
The scope looks really nice, but the rest is kind of... boring. Not enough detail. Are you going to change that or is it supposed to be flat-ish looking?
I'll probably add alot more detail to the model, though some of it will be in the texture.

I aligned the back pretty much perfectly on the reference pic, but I do agree that it looks odd. I'll try making it smaller.

I'll also try attaching the scope using some other reference... unless anyone knows how that one should look.

The main body of that sniper rifle looks odd. You did the scope perfectly but the body is just weird. Not because of your modeling but because of the rifle itself. Why don't you find another sniper rifle with a nice body and try the scope on that instead. Kind of combine both elements into one gun.

I see why you modeled the scope-connection-thingy as a block though... it's pretty blocky but certainly not THAT simple.
Add more detail to it! I like the rifle itself, but your model needs some more work.
