I keep trying to import a lightwave file into the animator but it won't work.

The format is .lwo and I think that is the problem, but i'm not sure
I don't know whats wrong, but if you can't figure it out try exporting it to .obj. You can use
http://www.wings3d.com (free) to change the format if you like.
Did it give an error message? Anything about UV mapping? What version are you using?
I thought the other format was Meshwork...?

The only format I really do a lot of work on is OBJ, lightwave was something at had at the beginning, but, like meshwork, it's tied to one modeler where OBJ is pretty much supported by them all.

Exporting as OBJ would rule.
