Full Version: Terrible collision problem

Here's the problem that I've mentioned often but was never solved: Imagine you had an object of which the length is much more than the width, like a car or something. If you add it in Editor and never rotate it... No problem. Now imagine the object needs to be rotated 90 degrees -which tends to happen a lot- and check what happens...

For those of you who don't have the time: you'll notice you can walk straight through the ends of the long side, but you get repelled when you try to go past it along the length close enough.

I conclude that the collision box doesn't rotate along with the model, which can be annoying. For example: I have a car and a tunnel. The car can go through the tunnel if it is vertical, but not when it's horizontal. This should be fixed asap.
I noticed this to :|. Needs to be fixed Brian Smile!
[EDIT]Nevermind, Brian said he didn't see this thread, but he just happened to fix the same problem Smile.
This has already been fixed in 2.3 Smile There's a bit of a problem with "sliding" between objects if you hit at certain angles, it's something I'll need to work on.
