You should be able to take gif's in dim3 - i want an animated menu, and sam want's it as well.

You can animate bitmaps -- they just need to have a single bitmap with sequential bitmaps within (like some of the particle bitmaps.)

GIF is a NON-lose-less format with a very, very low color size, and it would have to be taken apart anyway so there's no need to put it together in the first place

GIFs would be bad! Like Brian said, low colors, and they're really only good for web stuff.

Brian, I DON'T want gifs, but there's no way to animate the MENU is there?
