I am a big fan of Aerobatics and airshows. So I've been playing around with X-plane and finally got around to attempting at accurate model of a real airplane. I decided to modify an existing aircraft file rather than starting from scratch. So I started with a Pitts S2-C model and completely re-worked it to create this airplane.

Now I know this isn't Dim3, but I'm very proud of the texture work here.
Jim Leroy was killed when his Pitts S2S Bulldog crashed during a performance 28 July, 2007. This airplane is in his honor.

lol @ applause. Smile

The plane maker program for X-plane does some things for you. It has options for wings, fuselages and extra parts. It also has an option for importing and exporting obj files, but I can't get the files to work right when I import them to wings or blender. There's nothing there, I can zoom in and out as much as I want but there's nothing there.

There is a simple pilot figure in the plane, though i didn't make him myself. I was going to texture him like Leroy, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
Cool!! I like it Smile.
