I use Makehuman models reduced in blender and then further in Art Of Illusion, but they are trimeshes, so I can't simply reduce polys for clothes. I need a tutorial or something for modelling shirts, pants, etc..
Just extract the polys, reform them to the shape of the clothes, and extrude them normal to give them thickness -- Or leave them 1 poly thick.
It depends on what app you're using.

What do you mean by extract the polys?
