Do we still have people using G3s? Not a big deal, but there's a tuning optimization I can't use if I'm still supporting G3s.

i dont think so and i think people who still use a g3 are not interested in games anyway.
I switched yesterday! G4 now!
I'm using a nice nice little Power Book now.

Not me, I'm using a PowerMac G4 933mhz with an NVIDIA GeForce4ti (128mb) and a sweet 19" Acer Widescreen monitor. If you dropped G3 support, I'd have no problem.
I have still have one G3, but it would never play any 3d games (not even marathon!), no problem here.
I don't think a G3 could handle dim3 at all, so it's not worth supporting them.
I was using a G3 till yesterday.
My g3 iBook is used for email and web browsing mostly. Poor little ibook. It die horribly if i tried running dim3.
I'm fine as well. OPTIMIZATION!! :D
