I'm in trouble setting a LAN server and joining it. I was able to set up a local server and join it from the same machine. But to join from an other computer doesnt work because I need to enter the IP and apparently I can't type digits. So I'm able to write letters but no digits in the IP field. I supect it has something to do with me having an azerty keyboard. So I tried setting my keyboard to American, no result. Maybe a bug?
I tried it on every comp in my house, the same thing happens. I'm using b7, Leopard on a G5.

Wow ... that's ... odd! Can you use number keys anywhere else (like network name, or as a key in the game?)
For now, you can hand edit the Setup.xml (not the default one in the dim3 folder, but the one it writes into your documents folder) to get in the IP addresses.

Are you using the keypad or the top number row? Brian -- The keypad is the area of choice to press numbers for most people and last I tried, it didn't work. You should support it. While typing.

Ugh -- I never noticed that! Yes, SDL returns different keycodes for those, so it's probably why it's broken in typing. I'll get that fixed pronto.

No, I tried typing in other textfields, no result. I'm using the keypad and top number row, doesn't work.
I also noticed that it worked on my sister's laptop. She had also an azerty, so the prob is only with external keyboards.

Damn, if I knew this. This thing was driving me crazy, I tried modifying the one in the dim3 folder and it didn't change in engine. I was already searching the prefs folder to find were it was stored. Seems like I missed a lot after being away so long
