I finished it on christmas, in 5 days.
But when you finish a game in 5 days, there's lots of bugs.

So, just to be able to say that I made a game in 5 days, I'm releasing v 1.1 soon :P.
(soon=probably a few days)
[EDIT]It IS a really simple game, you have to steal all the objects from the house that represent christmas under a time limit and find a way out. If you loose you restart, you are scored on the objects you collect, some are worth more points than others. The graphics are very cartoony, and there are only 4 levels. The only difference between the levels is where the exit is, a few more objects on the harder levels, and less time to finish them. The last one has a crazy time limit.
To make up for the lack of levels, it will hopefully be one of those games you play over and over again to try and beat your own score.
Screenshots or I won't believe you that it's finished.
Bink, it's a simple cartoon game where you pick up pickups for points under a time limit, why wouldn't you believe me :P? Or maybe you posted before I edited.... Oh yeah, you did.

Anyway, I made a quick site (yes, with a few screenshots):

[EDIT]I really need a toon shader that puts black lines around the edges of the model, is a shader like that possible in dim3?
I never managed to make a toon shader with lines, but I do have a regular one that actually works. I'm currently trying to make it support more than one light and also take the light color into account.
Hm... it does look really bad without vertex lighting/a proper toon shader. You should try to improve that.
Yeah, the graphics stink because of the lack of shading right now.
Believe me, it stinks even more with vertex shading. Maybe I should add more polys to the models to make them look better with shading....

I need to learn glsl, I'll probably spend tomorrow doing that. Is it hard?
I could just send you a toon shader or explain to you how to write one.
Talk to me on IRC and I can help you.
Okay, not now though probably tomorrow.
You could have the character you play be Bink, he's a bit of a grinch himself. Wink jk Bink.

Looks neat, but christmas is over so you better hurry up. Wink

I was going to suggest that. [Image: blink.gif]
Well it does solve that little copyright problem with what to call him. Smile
