Is there a way to export Joe Foe for modifications in Lightwave or Blender?
This would be a transition to learn how the bones interact until I do a full remake.
Have modeled in Lightwave on and off over the last ten year-but bones has always
been a handicap.
Would like to start to make the changes on the Joe Foe figure without going in fully
as I am still troubleshooting some scripting issues.
Thanks_giantrock73
No, I don't think there is a way to do that. The Dim3 animator can not export models.
Thought that was the case-but there usually is some work around.
Will start from scratch in Lightwave. If anyone has any bone tutorials
for Dim3 Animator or Inspire-that would help out big time. Thanks_giantrock73
There is a workaround,
http://www.littlegenerals.com/inspire/
. Don't think it works with the new versions though

.
Anyway, I recommend just starting from scratch. If you want a model to look at google for "free 3d low poly human model" or something like that. Make sure to put in low poly

.
Actually, I'm emailing the guy right now asking why it doesn't work with dim3 even though the site says it should....
Under 8000 polygons I think it was-will start from scratch and will take a closer
look at Inspire. Thanks_giantrock73
You can't do that anyway. The models don't belong to Brian, and you're not allowed to go around editing them I think.
No, Alex, if you find a way I'm sure you can edit it, you CAN NOT USE it though

. If all he wanted to do was practice I'm sure he could edit it

.
btw nice sig Alex

.
Oh yeah, I didn't think of that.
And thanks.

I'll just start from zero and bypass the usage question-glad we have this to work with as it is. giantrock73
