Im new at 3d game making and 3d model making. So if u know a good 3d program that is free for mac plz tell me (so u know i dident know where to place this thread sry if i placed it wrong)

I would recommend Blender, but Wings 3D is easier. I like Wings 3D for UV mapping but i work with Maxons Cinema 4D and ZBrush.
Most of the community use Wings 3D, so they can give you tips and help.

i usually create the model in blender then texture it in wings 3D

I bet I could make a "fing" for you. What do they look like?
After downloading one or both of the listed 3D apps above, you need to do several things.
1: Look for reference, if you're going to model a gun, look up pictures of guns, if you're going to model a house, look up pictures of houses, it's very important that you get reference, even the best 3D artist need it.
2: Practice, practice, practice. This is very important, just model all sorts of things, and keep trying to make them better and better. You will eventually become very good at it.
3: Be patient! It takes a long time to become a good 3D artist, took me over 4 years, and I'm still far from advanced.
I'm pretty sure that Alex didn't notice this, or else he wouldn't have posted. This is a 3 month old thread that has already been answered. Please try to not dig up old topics unless there is an unresolved problem that is being worked on, you are having problems following the steps, etc.

Wings is a basic program which is better for buildings than more natural things. I use wings more but when you are competant enough to step up, use...

Blender is slightly more complicated than wings, but it's results are better =).
