I proudly present:

Mynith iMixPix

A home made image editor I've been working on to suit my personal needs.
Unlike other projects such as iDiscuss I am planning to finish this one.

Finished features:

-Java powered
-Full screen
-supports jpg and png
-has 8 filters up to now:
---Gaussian blur
---Sharpening
---Edge detection
---invert
---solarize
---adjust hsb
---adjust exposure
---adjust gain and bias
-Quaqua look and feel, so nearly native user interface

-And finally, the main reason I built this - at first sight utterly useless - image editor, and possibly the main reason why you'd want it, as I know no other free tool that does this: a fully automatic texture seam remover. Nifty, eh?

Screenshots to be posted later.
Please add a feature that converts all images in a folder into RGB .png pictures.
Converting every single one in GraphicConverter before using them in Dim3 is a real pain.
And something to play single pictures as frames/create gif anims/movies and easier to use than in GC.
I might actually download it, if it had those features. :P
Otherwise... it sounds pretty useless. Texture seam remover? I can do that by hand and it takes about 5 seconds, or I can load the pic in PhotoLine (it has an automatic seam remover that actually works really well).
Sounds pretty nifty! I would like to see some screens!

I can make an automator action for that if you want.
Nice sig :D.
Sounds neat, I'll probably never use it as I'm happy with gimp (except for the horrible fake mac interface).

If you add

Pencil
Paintbrush
Airbrush
Dodge/Burn
Select By Color
Bucket Fill
Rect Select
Circle Select
Feather Selection
Sharpen Selection
Shrink Selection
Grow Selection

Different Brush types
and Layer Modes

I might use it :D.

easy. Note that the tiling image is drawn four times. This is not a bug.

Layers is already there.
Layer MODES Wink. As in screen, dodge, burn, add, subtract that kind of thing.
I'm not expecting you to add these things, just giving my reason for using gimp. If you do take the time to add those things, then, well, awesome!
Good Work! I'm impressed!
