hey is there a way that you can assign the particle/muzzleflash to a certain bone, i had one put in but when i fire the weapon the particle/muzzleflash is going off wayy below the gun barrel.
Yeah, through scripting or through the animator?
In animator you can set it to go off on a specific pose, just set the bone one the main tab of the animation settings window. Through scripting just use the correct API Wink.
btw: mesh muzzle flashes are the best Wink.
You really ought to use meshes instead, a particle just doesn't cut it. However, the way to do it is to double click on the animation that has the muzzle flash, and there's a EFFECT SPAWN menu that allows you to specify the bone that spawns the effect.

yeah, every1 tells me that about mesh muzzle flashes.
