Wow, this thread is packed with cool stuff.

Imon, can I use that smoke? The explosion is a bit too... cartoony.

Yes, and post screenshots please. Smile
Imon, I might use some of that for VIP. I make really, really, really bad particles.
This is a part of a isometric background that I made. I haven't spent much time working on it but I liked the way it turned out so here it is. It's practically my first attempt at soft painting of a sort.

Any comments would be welcome.
It's certainly not great, but not too bad either. A little... empty. There really isn't much to comment on. :P

I vectorized an image from an anime to use as a desktop wallpaper. Does that count as 2D art?

Still needs to be fixed up a little. Some errors in there. :/
You're right. I wanted to show it because this thread had been so quite.

Yeah, that counts. I like it.
Bink: thats... odd. Girl in a bear suit. Yaay.
Patrick: The trees look good, if a little... tilted. The dirt could use some texture as well.
Well, I certainly agree about that. The dirt is just a plain color. Smile

The trees are the only reason I showed the screen at all!
Hi, I want to show you guys some textures and see what you think of them.

1: House Wall

2: House Wall w/window

3: Brick Apartment wall w/window

4: Rusty Grate

Why is the first texture mirrored? Too lazy to make it tile properly? :P
I like them. Nice detail.
The edges in the last one are too hard though, imho. Try brightening the shadows and darkening the highlights.
