You mean the entire model? Yes you can. You can also move it by X, Y, or Z, and also rotate it by X, Y, or Z.
What you have to do is this. When you create your animation, and add a pose to it, double-click on the animation name, and it will bring up this window:

The options are Sway and Move. Sway means Rotate. Change these numbers, and play the animation to the them take effect.

I think he means actually rotate it, not in the animation. Try vertexes<rotate

You can also move around it by holding command and dragging the mouse.
Edit: Right, move the camera around it.
