Since I can't work with Dim3 at the moment (for obvious reasons :rolleyesSmile, I've had a lot of time for weird and crazy ideas.
One of them: Some sort of "library" for scripts. A collection of basic scripts and functions, from weapons to cutscenes and even AI.
Easily modifiable and fast. Optimized as much as possible and with everything commented.
Most scripts would only require changing model names, health values, delays etc. to run,
or can be used as a base for really complex scripts or just to learn from them.
Would anybody actually use that? Just asking, so I don't write all the scripts and nobody wants them in the end. Smile

EDIT: Almost forgot: Would anybody help me by donating a few scripts, if I actually start this project?
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Especially for people who aren't very good at scripting (me). I'd be willing to donate some stuff if I could make a script that doesn't give a bug every 5 seconds...

edit: tnx ccccc
I wouldn't use it, as I script for myself, but I would donate to it. Wink

@dimwit: lol "Especially for people who aren't very god at scripting"....
I suggested this a while ago, and mostly everyone said something along the lines of good idea. But i never got round to it. Yes. I would definetly use it. I'd love to donate, but really only i can make basic stuff that everyone else can do 3 times better.
For a guy who takes forever to get a decent script I'd be happy to have a script library. It would really help speed up my work, not by using an exisiting script, but giving me lots of examples to draw from. At the moment I have to figure everything out by trial and error, and that's boring... :P
After the mesh stuff -- and the never ending network stuff Smile -- the next area that should get some new thought is scripting, and the places where we can make it easier or some more pre-backed components. Too busy with other stuff (obviously), but that's something that should get some consideration.

I would like a script library to help me learn more about scripting from looking at examples.
