Just wondering...
How do you release a game you made without allowing other people to be able to build off it or be able to change something?

-Gandolf
Well, one thing you could do is select "show package contents" then drag the data folder in there, but then dim3 users can still change it. Mafoo's making a data folder hider thingy, maybe he'd let you use it, but i wouldn't bet on it. Other than that i don't know.
Thanks, and are there any games published from Dim3 people are allowed to play?

-Gandolf
First of all, all Dim 3 games (So far) are completely free and editable. Best thing to do is to have rights to everything in the game.

Thats all the advise I can give you.

Not true, awnee and the rest of the new dimension games that use dim3 aren't editable (not easily at least).

http://www.awnee.com <--Very old version of the engine, but a really good game if you can figure out what the heck your supposed to be doing lol Smile

[EDIT]Oh yeah, he modified the engine to make it hard to edit, I think, because even when I get into the data I can't figure out how to do anything....
