The new mesh editor is really cool and easier to use but I couldn't make a new map, because when I started a new map, It asked me about the size of the portal and I set that, then I made a cube for a room and It was somewhere but nowhere near me, Which makes it difficult to start maps (unless I did something wrong)
The new engine works well and I'm glad that it is easier to host games and change difficulty. The only problem here that I found was walking through walls and joefoe.

Again, physics are not near repaired.

This new version is sweet!!! One thing I noticed right off the batt, was if your on top of another moving object (joe foe) instead of moving with them, when they move, you fall right off. Also, I can't import any heightmaps, objects or meshes. But, yah this new version is great.

Brian - is there any documentation about how the new map format is stored? I'm looking at scripting some tools to assist in rapid content generation. If you have anything written down about how the data is stored it would be much appreciated...

No, but it should be mostly obviously. Make a simple map and take a look and then you can email me personally with any questions and I'll try to answer them.

I have a bunch of weird speed problems Brian, but I assume you don't want them now, so I'll wait.
I have an Editor problem too though, It's almost impossible sometimes to get the meshes to line up properly, I had two large landscape pieces that were completely square, and when I duplicated them and flipped them around, I couldn't get the edges to line up, they either left a gap, or overlapped. We need to either be able to make more minute adjustments, or something else.

Send me some personal email, I'll want to look at a couple of your files.

You want the email for the speed problems? Or the Editor problem?

Maybe a move vertex to 2nd button? If in object mode it will move the whole object, face mode it will move the whole face and vertex mode it will move the selected vertices. After clicking the button it would grey out previous selections and ask you to select two vertices of different meshes. Escape cancels, enter/return confirms.
