Above the model there's a bunch of buttons, the one with the straight arrow switches to bone moving (the circular arrow button changes it back to rotational).

yes, about this Ive found the button but when I drag the numbers change but nothing actually happens.
-edit nvr mind. it was just that the bone i was dragging didn't have anything assigned to it.

This happens to me, sometimes noting moves.

That's true.
Sometimes I want to move a bone, but no matter how much I try to move it, it won't.
The number changes, but the bone doesnt move. This is often limited to a single axis; the bone moves correctly in all other directions.

This is actually quite simple. It seems that the movement of the bones is directly related to the distance between the bones on that axis.
More detail:
bone0 is at (0,0,0), and bone1 is at (0,0,-100).
the bones can move on the y axis, because -100 is different from 0
the bones cannot move on the x or z axes, because any number multiplied by 0 is 0.
If you built the model in a good pose, you can avoid this trouble.

Also, sometimes the bone moves when editing the pose but not in the animation. :\

I today got a glitch when manually editing the x/z/y values of a bone would change It's numbers in the list, but not it's position graphically. This happened after I deleted an animation and a pose.
