Reminds me of Portal! Looks great!
Well, the textures (Despite being simple) are nice but there isn't really any atmosphere.

IMO, you need to add some stuff.

• Like teh1ghool said, fire extinguishers.
• No Smoking signs.
• Authorized Personnel ONLY! signs.
• Click for security things on the walls. *Implying that security might be needed if "something" got loose. =)
• Grates on the walls, floors, and ceilings. (Implying that things might come out!)
• ID scan posts.
• Pillars are great in a big room because they can prevent the player from seeing things and the player is always thinking that there is something behind them.
• No Unauthorized Personnel allowed past this point!

That kind of thing that gets the player wondering...

• Whats in here???
• Why are all these security things here???
• Maybe somethings going to come out!...IYEEEEE!! *silence*
• Where can I go if something attacks me???

At leasts, these are the things I think when I play Doom 3. Wink

A good creepy situation is when you have a dark hall leading to a dark room and in the corner is a little lamp and a computer on a desk. You have to get to the computer through the hall.

Ooooo....creeepy! Smile
I know there is no atmosphere at all. The first room is supposed to be perfectly happy, normal, and clean-then you read the sign that says "Please note that leaving the testing area at any time could result in serious injury or death" then the lights go out. :D

Strong Hammer: Thanks for the ideas of how to scare the player though, I'm gonna need those later. Smile
I'll start littering the scene a bit now....

Looks good. Is that with solid lighting?
I think the door needs to be a bit more metallic, as right now, the handle doesn't exactly fit in. Keep up the work!

I think it's to shiny... I'm not sure though, is it?
Yep. Too shiny. You might be able to rig up a specular map that would put a shininess on one area though.
That is a specular map....
Anyway, specular maps always show too bright for me. :|
Are there any settings to change how intense the specular is?
Yes, it's too shiny.

Could I make some sign textures for you? Smile Please?
Nah, sorry but this is gonna be my first finished project in dim3 and I want to make sure I can make a whole game myself before continuing with UNSEEN (which is alot more complex).

btw, theirs gonna be alot of easter eggs in this game. :D
