hi my name is J Patterson I am a registered Iphone developer and I have 2 questions. First is it allowed to take the source code of dim3 and created works and port to a different platform lets say the iphone? and if so.....

. I wanted to port a dim3 created game to the iphone. My question is are there any dim3 creators that have fully created games (of their own material) and are interested in my project? I am willing to pay for a reasonable and agreed amount. Or would share my percentage given by apple for each sold game. I would need to port the game this month in order to have it ready for the Iphone app stre opening in June. If interested please pm. Thanks.
What exactly are you asking for?
Help with your game? Help with porting it?
I don't get it. :/
Well as a hot shot developer you of-course have read the Dim3 EULA, so that answers your first question.

Second, dim3 is based on SDL, so your going have to have a working port of that first.

Third, i have dim3 games that are fairly complete, especially mini games I've made. If you could actually port the engine to the ipod then I'd be interested. But you have a lot of work to do first. Have you even looked at the source code?
The license obviously answers your first question.

As for the second, if you actually can port the engine to the iPhone, there's no need to port individual games, just give Brian the iPhone version and anyone could use it.

Porting the engine to the iPhone would be sw33t.
[EDIT]Oh yeah, I forgot, you need to pay to make apps for the iPhone. :| You might be able to get away with just porting the engine though as there is no compiling of final games, just dropping a data folder in the same folder as the engine.
