Full Version: height limit??

So in the game I'm working on, I wanted to make some tall buildings. But whenever I make something about 3 or 4 stories high, whenever I go to play it, if I try to jump when I'm up there it resets my height to a lower place. Does anyone know if there's some height limit or something? Also, I think my editor is glitching because now from some angles, I can't select anything even when I'm clicking right on it.

Please help me!
Okay, there is a height limit but no depth limit. Hit cmnd shift < or > to move the portal up or down. In your case, you move it down so that you have more space above you.
If you have a lot of portals, there is a Map Move Up/Down option, use that.
That works, thanks!

I have one more question, is it possible to copy and paste things from one map to another? For example, if different people were to make a game together and each of them built seperate maps, could you paste them all into one map at the end?
Yes, you save the whole thing into a primitive....
Hit the combine into primitive button then save it. Note that you cannot save pieces from separate portals into the same primitive.
How do you do custom primatives?

With the new editor, you can drop objs into the library folder. Then you can add the meshes to your map (like a primative) But I don't know how you import them with their texture map.
