Hey, recently I have tried to make a few models, but I am new to most of this. I hope these are good enough to post. So, here are a few things...
This is my first model:

This is my second model:

This is my third model:

This is my fourth model: (Unfinished)

I would greatly appreciate any Criticism and Critique you may have.

Thank you,

Why do you use windows for modeling? Blender is great and runs on mac. Smile

These aren't very good, but are very good for your first models. You know what I mean, good for a first try but they need work.
Gun:
Look at a picture of a real gun when modeling,
[Image: pistol_m9_500.jpg]
the handle doesn't look like that, very sharp and comfortable looking. Then take a look at the barrel as well....

As for the pot thing, it's fine, lack of detail for such a high poly model though. Wink If your going to use that many polys, add some detail (rings engraved into the pot, ect)

The swords okay but the handle looks really lame.... example handle: http://www.aceros-de-hispania.com/image/...-sword.jpg

I just googled for those images, I'm sure your models would be that much better if you had some reference. Smile
They're very nice for some first models. Smile Couldn't use them for a game though. Too high poly.

The best models (IMHO) are the pistol and the sword.

The pistol is shown at an angle that makes it very hard to see it's full shape. Show a side and a front.

The sword needs a pommel. Your hands going to slide off otherwise. The guard should be wider then the grip. Smile

You also might want to crop your images. They're kind of big.

Good work.

Edit
Rats, ccccc beat me again!
They're good first models. Oh make the grip (handle) of the gun more textured and comfortable.

P.s what program are you using? Name Plz Smile
Thanks Smile

To CCCCC: I will modify the Barrel and Handle of the gun. I will add finely engraved designs around the base and top of the pot. I will fix the handle of the sword, though I have been having problems trying to get it perfect and to visualize it in my head. Thanks.

To Strong Hammer: I'm not sure how to get the Poly count lower without ruining it. I will get better pics of the gun after I modify it, I will also fix the sword and crop the images. Thanks.

To kingdabura: I will fix the Handle of the Gun and possibly add a better texture. The Program I use is called AutoDesk Inventor. Thanks.

Thank you for all the critique you guys have taken the time to give. I will now fix them up and hopefully post back soon. If you have any more comments, they would be greatly Appreciated. Wink

Yeah, you should really switch to blender. My understanding of Autodesk software is that it's mostly for visual and physical design and not for efficiency or efficacy. Besides... windows! (dunh-dunh-duhhh)
Gandolf: It shouldn't be that hard to make it lower poly, just remove alot of edge loops. Wink
Unless you mean that the autoDesk makes it hard....
dimwit: It's spelled w-i-n-b-o-w-s. :P
To dimwit: AutoDesk actually seems really easy, almost effortless. It is the only program PC has that is worth using. Besides that, I still use my Mac 99% of the time.

To CCCCC: I will try to remove polys from the objects. What is the normal poly count of an object?

Thanks, Smile

I can model a car within 2000 polys, to give you some idea.
I doubt the App you're using was made for made objects. You need to use either Wings 3D or Blender or some other good 3D app that allows you to manipulate your models on a vertex, polygon and edge scale.
