Hello everyone. This thread was created for users to post Tutorials they'd like to have. The more tutorials we have, the better, and I'd like to make some myself, so if anyone has any request, please post them. Thanks!

CURRENT REQUEST:

•Basic Scripting Tutorial/More Scripting Tutorials
•Blender Tutorials
•How to use the Animator type Tutorial
•Animator Tutorals

UPDATE: Imon made a transparency tutorial, and I made tutorial on how to import models in the Animator.
Err, shouldn't this be in the Tutorials section? =P
No. Only finished tutorials go in the tutorial section.
Alright, sorry, that was a bit off-topic, now to get it back on.
I would definitely love a basic scripting tutorial on how to use certain functions of dim3s code. ccccc's scripting tutorial helped alot, but I usually can't find where to put what code to get it to work.
Added ^^

Anyone want any sort of modeling or texturing tutorial? I have some ideas, but I don't want to do something unless somebody needs it.
Well, I used to need one of those, but not any more, took me months to actually figure out how to texture right. I think it would probably be useful for new users.
Blender tutorial maybe? Rolleyes
I actually don't know how good the provided blender tutorials are, never got to far with it.
That being said, a tutorial only outlining the features a dim3 game model would need would be useful.
I definitely need one on how to basically use the animator. I know how to attach bones to vertexes, but I have no idea which I should attach them to, and once animation blending is fixed(Not sure if it is, I think I read it wasn't working somewhere), this will probably be needed.
Good ideas guys. I can do those easy.
Don't want to rain on your parade, but in my opinion modelling or texturing tutorials are out of place here. There are zillions of tuts on those topics out there, just google them. Maybe we need a link collection, yes.

What I think is needed is a documentation of the interface.xml. It took me a while to figure out particles.xml and rings.xml, I could write something on those. Then maybe we need more details on the official documentation, like code snippets and examples on what is already there.
