Hi, i cant seem to import my blender objs into the animator, it tells me that there are too many triangles? the model is 4500 verts.
Can anyone help me?
Sorry if this is the wrong thread, i dont know wether to post here or in animator.
Thanks
How many triangles does the model have? Animator only supports 8000---note that if you really need more all you need to do is change one number in the source.
I'd stay below 2000 triangles if I were you, 3000 is probably a waste. never-mind 8000!
How do i know how many triangles there are?
Thanks for the help ill try to find the source ( i am not a programmer by any lenth)

Is the link for it in edit mode (you can see the verts)

Yeah, looks like way too many polygons. One
tetragon has always 2
triangles.
look how professional models look like and try to build them manually step by step.
Your model looks like you used the smooth function. Never use smooth.

The 3D looking details like skin, muscles etc. are mostly normal maps.

See the triangles?

A normal map. (Just like a bump map.)
I would suggest you to learn from a lowpoly-tutorial. Maybe you can find something in the Tutorial section. Google is good too.
Well, keep it up. I hope it helps!
