You ask a very general question by asking "rap or anything but rap", my friend. But despite your general question, I agree with Inspire and Alex. I've heard good rap but the majority of what I've heard is bad. I've heard bad classic but the majority I've heard is good.
Also like Inspire and Alex, I like most game music including:
Halo series
Gears of War
Elder Scrolls V, Oblivion
Call of Duty 4
Diablo I/II
Baldur's gate II
Warcraft III
And believe it or not, Wing Nuts
Nice old game with neat music.
And many others.
Well there is a few rap songs that i like but they are more like reggae kind of stuff but i like all kinds. classics are the best next to 80s and some 90s music

I also really like the music in National Treasure, nice stuff right there. Final Fantasy games generally have nice music, and the movie, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, had some awesome music. I love the use of piano.

Yeah, Patrick, I like the music in Oblivion, especially the title screen. The Gears of War music is good, but they probably could've done a bit more with it though, considering how great a game it is.
Well, for games the doom music is pretty good and marathon has some cool ambient stuff.
Inspire, I agree, Gears of War could have managed a little more music but the game play is so good that I don't really notice it much.
I've never heard any Final Fantasy music game or movie but I do agree that proper use of piano is really great.

Kingdabura, a little while ago, a couple of us put dabura on the end of our names for a joke. mafoo started it and then Imon, me and then Bink. They switched back because they were afraid that someone would take their usernames but I stuck on.

I don't know if the first 2 do (haven't played them yet), but the intro/menu on doom 3 has some pretty good music. (just played the demo, the gameplay is way to repetitive!)

Game music is nice i like the title song in urban chaos.
