You're going to have to be a bit more specific -- is this a question about running the engine (which means running the demo project) or how to start your OWN project?

I'd recommend not jumping right into a project but editing the demo project first. Get a good feel for the scripts, how the animation system works, and how the map works. For instance, you'd run Editor to edit the maps. Edit big indoor map, play with the editor, get a good idea of how that works. Then you can play with the Animator, which imports models and animates them, and lastly look over the scripts.
Getting a good idea how everything puzzles together will help you out a lot in the long run as you'll be able to get started faster.
What part do you want to do first? Make you own maps? Your own models? Your own weapons? There's a bunch of different directions you can go.
When starting a new project, leverage the demo project first. Back up the demo project, then build your maps, objects, etc, in the demo project, slowly replacing my stuff with your stuff. When you have enough to run on its own, then clear away the rest of the demo stuff.

Try starting by making the Cival War soldier the player.

dim3 runs whatever data folder (which has the project) is at the same level as Engine. Think of everything in the data folder as your project.
So, if you have your own project, just replace the data folder with yours and that's it. It runs the exact same way on windows.

There's a problem because i can't open dim3 program and i wanna start building my own game but i don't know how...Maybe is same as the RPG Maker about the maps character and all that...I get bored of the RPG Maker because I was thinking of something better... And then i found dim3 but i can't open it.
