I think it would be EXTREMELY useful to let the user adjust the color depth of the screen, the same way as the resolution. This can come in very handy as it can greatly speed up the engine and the difference between thousands of colors and millions of colors is nearly invisible. I am asking this because certain people would rather play on a higher resolution than with a lot of colors.
Yeah I'd love that, I would also love a brightness and contrass control setting as well, like Baldur's Gate II.

No, thats something different.
Color Depth is how many colors are used (256, 32.768, 16.777.216),
Gamma adjusts the brightness and contrast.
Changing the Color Depth would be a nice feature. :sneaky:
