You know when you move a piece it will jump a certain amount but you cant go between-like the lock grid in photoshop.
Is is possible to turn this off some how?
The map is divided into usits. If you don't want it to snap to units so far apart, scale the map up a bit so that it will allow you to sap closer together like you want it.
For instance, it snaps here now: O <--- quare, whenever you move a piece it will move that far and snap to thos lines.
If you scale the map, it will snap to these lines: o <-- which is what you want. It's just like GTK Radiant in a way. If you make the map TOO small, the tiniest movements will snap and it will seem like the snap is too far from the original place.
wait is there some kind of button that actually makes the map scale go up or do i actually have to make the map giant.
Well I think you have to make the map giant. It's not 'gian't though, it's just not so small that you can't make detailed objects.
then the player would be small
Nope, you simply must make the player model size bigger. Everything can be changed and there is nothing absolute except for the grid units in the map editor.

ok, i'lll try and use scale the palyer in animator
but dammit now i have to redo all my maps!!!
-i suggest a scale map option in the editor for the next ver of dim3 brian
i'd recomend not redoing all youre maps and sticking with the gridlock :P !
grid-lock helps me make maps
