theres probably an easy answer to this but........
yesterday i was making animations for the first time, the first one i made was kind of a test and the second one was a more serious one.
well after a little while i saved and quit out to see if my stuff would still be there but when i opened the animator and my mesh i was only getting my first animation (the one thats crap). the second one wouldnt play.......
so any ideas on why this is happening?
also i just want to make this clear, hands (on weapons) are made in the animator right?
thanks.....
Are the poses IN the animation? If yes, then you may have it set to stop the loop on the first pose. Click on the last pose in the animation and set it to loop yes/no, I can't remember which you're supposed to do.
Hands are NOT made in the animator, model and texture your own hands as part of the weapon model and import them into animator. You can't use the Dim3 hands in your project.

Was the animation still there and just not playing or was it missing all-together?

(the animation) it was still there......
i have a problem with the whole hands thing tho, when i go and start making the fingers they are all (excluding the thumb) connected (no space inbetween fingers). its a very weird problem and if i cant figure out how to make it so they arent connected i cant make hands......
(im using the wings manual, the part where it shows you how to make hands)
are they individual polys? if they are, you are probably using "extrude region" instead of "extrude". extrude region takes all the selected neighboring faces and extrudes them as if they were one face. extrude simply extrudes all the faces independantly.
