The list of freeverse titles is something huge! I must admit I didnt play many of them just some airburst and kill monty.
Anyone has a favourite one to recommend? Or maybe I should wait for escort wings :)

Burning Monkey Solitaire and Enigma are both pretty good.

Enigma is an incredible game.

Can't go wrong with Wingnuts either. (Fair warning: Wingnuts 2 is supposed to be released in the next few months.)
Not technically a game, but... If you have kids, Bumpercar is invaluable. For that matter, they might let you pick Comic Life. Sound Studio probably counts as two games, but you could offer to pay the difference.
Although the rules say that all entrants get to pick a game, I got the impression from Carlos's email that the ones who did not place in the top 3 may instead get a copy of "Best of OMG", which is five games (Airburst Extreme, Active Lancer, Deep Trouble 2, Kill Monty, Starbase Defender.) I may be reading too much into it though. I've sent a note to Carlos asking for clarification.

Well, the Best of OMG CD wouldn't be a bad prize, really. It wouldn't be my first pick but I wouldn't mind getting Activer Lancer and Starbase Defender. :)

Looks like the Best of OMG CD is a prize for all the entrants, so that one's sorted :)
Just to narrow the choice of games even more, we're adding a ToySight Gold download to the prizes for the top 3 ;)

Just wanted to double-check this. The top 6 entrants just got email from Colin asking for mailing addresses and our choice of Freeverse games. Obviously I don't want to select either Best of OMG or Toysight if those are going out to all the entrants already. Has that old plan now been replaced by Colin's "pick your game(s)" request?
I didn't want to fire these questions at Colin, since I have no idea how official your earlier post was. Didn't want to get you in trouble. "But Aaron said we'd be getting OMG and Toysight too!" :-)

So only the Top 6 get the games, not all valid entries? If so, then the agreement is wrong, because it stated that ALL cualified entries will receive a free game.

I just double checked it with Colin. The OMG CD prize is for ALL qualified entries (I don't think I saw a post above negating that), FV are just waiting on a list of entrants so they know where to send it :)
The Top 6 get an *extra* Freeverse game of their choice (thus the email) and we're giving a downloadable copy of ToySight Gold to the top 3. So if you're in the top 3, you've already got the 5 games in the OMG pack and ToySight Gold before you even pick a game :)

Great, thanks for the ultra-quick followup!
The last wrinkle I can spot is that the rules also state that 2nd and 3rd place get "any three Freeverse games". So I guess those two finalists can just submit two extra choices to Colin and see what he says.
