I think this is a nice website, in the past I used to work with a good Map Editor (www.qeradiant.com) that is not fully ported to Mac yet. What makes this map editor so nice is the ability to move with the arrow buttons as if you are in-game, installation on PC was rather easy but on Mac it's more complicated. Since Mac is my main platform I really should get GTK Radiant (http://www.qeradiant.com/manual/) to work, basically the editor uses textures from games like Jedi Knight & Quake. No matter if it's an old map editor for quake engines, its a nice system to work with and more or less has become a requirement for some professional software companies.
If you are into porting you might want to read Install Radiant Manually (http://www.macinradiant.cjb.net/) on Mac.
