Who's going to WWDC 2006? I'm pretty sure I am along with the "Grav" part of Graveck. (I'm the "eck") So I was wondering who I would have the pleasure of bumping into there. :)

It looks pretty interesting. :) I'm sure that after I have been programming for a while, I would want to go. However, in the mean time... can someone explain to me why they want to attend? Thanks!

It's a great place to meet great people in all parts of the industry, or to meet people you've met before again. It's the only place where I felt like I blended in by tieing a mouse around my neck for transportation purposes as I was carrying my laptop around. (I've never seen so many Mac laptops at once)

If anyone is in or plans to go to a college, I'd really suggest making some decent Mac game/app, sticking a link to it on your application, and seeing about Apple's student scholarship. (Probably too late this year) It's worth the experience.

Otee is coming to WWDC. We will hold a couple of sessions about Unity there.

I'd love to meet any idevgames people who are coming.

The hawtest in geek fashions. ;)

For those people who have only recently heard of and are enquiring about WWDC, it's worth noting that some events (or Steve Job's keynote, at least) have a live webstream, so you can watch from the comfort (and affordability) of your own home. Probably a nice way to see what it's about.

The Keynote is going to have a stream? They haven't done that at WWDC in a long time.... ?

they don't usually stream it live, but it's usually available for streaming shortly after, isn't it?

I'm probably making it up, then. Although I did think that what Keith said was true. That's how it is for when he's given other presentations, I believe?

As far as other streams, everything besides the keynote (maybe State of the Union too) is under NDA so the only way you get to see those streams is if you're an atendee or one of the higher paying ADC members.

Not every keynote he gives is streamed. But you're right - last year it was, though delayed.
