Title: Projective
Version: 2.0 alpha 30
Download: Projective 2.0 alpha 30 (http://office.asae.co.uk:16080/projective/Projective_a30.zip)
Type: Application - Project Tracking
Status: Development

Summary:
Projective is an application to aid in the 'paperwork' side of tracking a project, correspondence for the project, project diary, to do lists, bug lists, release note building and various other tasks.

Note:
Before I get lots of follow up posts saying why not just use [insert application name here] I want to make it clear that this application was developed to do exactly what I wanted it to do and also as a fun project to play with Mac application development.

This project was started back in 2004 and is back here now in an attempt to kick start my Mac development.

oh thank god! I tried using your newer versions, and it complained that I couldn't use it because the beta ran out or something!

Looks like a neat app, but why is it Intel only?

The release notes says it's a UB, but it's not.

Sorry not got a pre Intel Mac here to test it on. It has now been rebuilt as a UB.

SO GLAD to see this still alive! Keep going!

Why do I have to set values for all the drop downs on each new task that I do? Please eliminate the error message and let me save things as "No Value" menu selections.

Also, how do I set an author for the diary entry?

Thanks for the positive posts about the return of this project. I never knew it was so popular in the first place - now if only I had charged for it

I'll need to get back to you about this when I'm at my Mac to see how it works - I've not used it for a while.

I'm currently undecided about continuing with this version or to start work on a multi-user version using MySQL as a backend for the data.

Oh, it works GREAT on my mac (ppc, it IS UB). this is EXACTLY what I've been looking for.
My impression at first was that it was clunky, or rather non-simplistic. All the options or plunked down in the window.
You might go for a smaller window, with JUST the grid of projects/tasks, and then have an inspector popup that lets you edit the data in fields.
That's it for now, tata.
