Has anyone been able to install this? Or dotGNU? If so, is it worth the time? Or would it be better to just dual-boot and use the .NET framework on windows?
Thanks

It installs just fine. "Worth the time"? It takes very little time, so yes, it's worth it. If you think it's a drop-in replacement for .NET on Windows though, you're likely to be unhappily surprised...

I've used that.
Fisrt problem - I don't knoe how to check if I have it installed (I've tried to scan my compute)
Second problem - They don't tell you how to compile gtk#. I tried the instructions when yu download it, but I get the error: You need to have mono installed... Which I do
Third problem - Even if I could compile, I don't know how to do: "stall Gtk# from source to the prefix /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current (You will need to set the following environment variables: PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/sw/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig:/Library/"
Sorry for being a pest, but I always have problems instaling libraries and anything else similiar...
Thanks, again :)

Have you considered DarwinPorts (http://darwinports.opendarwin.org/)? That will probably "just work".

Thanks, I'll take a look at it :)
Edit - Hmm, I ran the installer, went to terminal, tried "sudo port install mono (without quotes) and it said the command was not found >_>

Of course it did. The README file explains this.

I'll let you know headway, but I'm working on it too. I've been wanting to get into trying out Mono and C# (mainly for the eventual attempt at using XNA, or Mono.Xna if it gets to a stable point, to make games). Gtk# has been giving me problems, but like you I have Cocoa# working just fine. I'll post back if I figure out a good method of getting everything set up.

All right, thanks :)
Yeah, cocoa# would be great, if I actually knew the cocoa API... :/
There is very little documentation for cocoa# but a lot more for gtk#, that is why I want to set it up
I'm also pleased to here there is a mono version of XNA is the works! im looking forward to it :)
