I wasn't planning on posting this, but what the heck.

Andy Korth and I decided to make a game on Monday.
The fruit of our labor: Gulf (http://epoxy.morris.umn.edu/~lembckesd/Gulf.tar.gz).

It's a mini golf-like game. It only took a few hours to make, so don't expect anything amazing. Drag the mouse to swing.

ha! I didn't even think of mini golf because (i didn't read & ) the faces plus odd gravity, thought it was rescue the princess or something.

Lava level was too tough.

Could almost be a puzzle/platformer.

Run with it.

Hehe. Yeah, we stole some of the code I made for a 24 hour contest, Smile Delivery. That's why there are faces.

Ah, that's what you meant. Physics are cool, nice little game to busy my time with.

Thanks for all the comments. It was a fun diversion. It's clearly pretty rough, but it seems to be generally enjoyed. If anyone has any suggestions on where we could take it, please let us know.

Also.. the whole mini-golf concept is a little... hmm, abstract. My initial thought was shooting boxes of mail into mail bins. But Skorche's idea of minigolf, and the idea of counting hits, and being able to move it more than once seems fairly integral.

Least number of hits for a level wins!

Records:
Level 1: 1.
Level 2: 1.
Level 3: 2.
Level 4: 1
Level 5: 3 (2 should be possible)
Level 6: 2
