I'm a music composer, primarily in the games industry, with around 5 years experience.
I'm used to working under strict deadlines and am well aware of the highs and lows of being an independent developer. I've had a lot of experience in the shareware market in particular. I'm also very aware of the fact that the genres that span the general independant circuit are very varied and I believe I am able to cater to everyone; although the indie market has a reputation for expanding genres and therefore composing for independent games is always an adventure.
