Or some combination of the three. This is for the week-long contest that starts today. I'll only ask for as much as you want to give me.

For graphics, I'll need a player ship and maybe 3-10 small enemies. Player ship would be about 100x50, and enemies would be between 20x20 and 40x40. Those woud include both flying and land-based enemies. I'll also need a building or three, a little larger than the enemies. Bullets too, just a few small simple glowy things would suffice. All oriented horizontally, as this will be a side-scroller.

If you want to make levels, you'll probably be editing a text file in a somewhat-human-readable format.

For music, I'd only need a track or two. I have a library of my own stuff I can pull from, but I don't think much of it will fit the kind of game I want to make. It would be the standard fast-pasted techno.

Does my music (http://www.icompositions.com/artists/Taxxodium/) sound like something you'd want?

Yes. Something like "Guardians" would be perfect.

Check out AC3D's Greeble feature (http://www.inivis.com/)
You can make buildings in seconds flat.
I believe it supports Blitz.

This page shows what greebles are intended for (http://supercoldmilk.com/ac3dplug/greeble.html)

Here's a greeble test I made with the iGame3D WTF export plugin (http://www.igame3d.com/ac3d/greeble-1.png)

and a spacey ship I made as my first modeling exercise in ages (http://www.igame3d.com/ac3d/shipssm.png)

If it looks like something you can use, let me know.
You are doing sprites?

All 2d. Your last link didn't work. And I don't need "that" sort of building. My game is set on a planet with no atmosphere.

Link works here. What browser are you using? Its a normal Png file.

Camino. Now that I look at it again, it wasn't a 404, it just had "errors." I just downloaded it, and Preview won't open it either.

Preview reports the evil Document type as "Apple PICT document".
For whatever reason I passed it through Quicktime player, and
exported as "PNG" returns a "portable network graphic" in Finder,
but a PICT file in preview.

So I resaved it out of Preview, and it lost 600K.
The link should work without crashing anything now. (http://www.igame3d.com/ac3d/shipssm.png)
I'll have to try another ship, before 2am next time.

While I sleep maybe the people at Shmup-Dev (http://www.shmup-dev.com/forum/) can help.
