Creative Suite 3 looks very nice but:

I can fly to New York, buy CS 3 spend the weekend there, and then come back home for less than the UK price

Yeah, one advantage of our being part owned by our US publisher. They can buy our Photoshop CS3 upgrade for us to use as part of the company.

See, Americans are useful for *something* ;)

Wow, I've seen differences in prices between countries, but I think this takes the cake.

That does suck - Us Canucks get to buy from the US store, which isn't too bad, but the shipping/brokerage costs can get silly.

I'm just upset there's no GoLive-to-Dreamweaver upgrade - hell, I've got LiveMotion too (what a waste). I've had separate Photoshop, Illustrator and GoLive licenses for years but the CS3 upgrade options push you towards the bundles...

Mwahahahaha! Wait until they publish the CS3 price for Latin America... ;) ( )

As of now, Photoshop CS2 (just Photoshop) costs US$ 1250 here in Argentina. Photoshop CS3 costs US$ 649+tax in the US.

<UglyAmeriacan>The extra cost is probably due to them having to add superfluous u's throughout the app and manuals. :P</UglyAmerican>

And switch all the r's and e's. :p (and don't forget the in-app menus! ;))
