Simply fantastic! :D Extremely well polished, and runs well at the best settings 800x600 on my lowest-line MacBook.
Looks great!
I turned everything up on my 2GHZ Macbook Pro Core Duo at 1600x1200, and unfortunately it scaled down the graphics until I unchecked the box that lets the game automatically scale the graphics. After that it looked amazing, but before the laval looked very pixelated. I only noticed one glitch, the ball shadow goes through objects and still lands on the volcano!
Very nice, keep up the good work!

I don't get the fancy pixel shaders on my GeForce3 (to be expected) but it otherwise runs great. I'd suspect the iMac's problem is an "MX" card - my ancient PCI Radeon 7000 with no T&L performs better than those POS ;) I did notice some pronounced "normal popping" on the animated models - are you doing your own lighting?
Gameplay wise I ran into some weirdness after hitting a ball into the water, where the game kept dropping the ball in a bad spot (back in the water!) over and over - it finally hit dry land after 6 or seven tries. The only other complaint would be that it sometimes takes forever for the ball to stop rolling if it's moving slowly along a slope/edge.
Other than that it plays and looks great - the controls and camera angles work nicely!

Great looking and fun to play, it took me a few seconds to realize the controls, but... there doesn't seem to be any music playing during the actual game, just ambient noise. Is that intentional or not?

I'm running 10.4.9, but the GeForce3 doesn't export ARB_fragment_shader/program.

It looks like the game's officially released now on Dan's website.
Meanwhile, I've made a little trailer of highlights for my blog: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3mcc2JwUX0

why did you decide to do another golf game?
i started playing with Newton to see how physic engine work.
playing with a ball on a mesh made with Cinema4D...
and i did a golf game..
basically its "Islands Mini Golf 2".
i did in Wacky Golf what i wanted to do in islands mini golf.
adding animated characters, physisc engine, shaders, camera stuff.
also... adding online game.. the next version is ready.. i added multiplayer online game , with ingame chat, and htat really cool.
