Recently an indie dev team, DHGgames, released their game, Motocross Challenge, a commercial quality game, for free, in ROM format, for all to enjoy.

The release came after 3 years of part time development by 2 programmers and a single artist. after finishing the game a few months ago, the developers were in dire straits as after failed negotiations with their publisher they were dropped completely due to failing GBA sales.
After exploring all possible avenues the small company decided to release their game as a free download. you will of course need a GBA emulator ( here (www.macemu.com) )for those who dont own a GBA & a flash ram card thing.

I started playing last night, and man its quite fun, reminded me a lot of the old motocross maniacs game on the NES. There is quite a bit of skill involved, especially in trick attack mode, i suggest starting with time trial mode first to get the hang of the controls.

Wow, that's horrible 3 years of work and they aren't getting paid for it now?! That seems...unfair.

I'll try it out but I'm still playing Pokemon Emerald. Maybe they could port the game to pcs? All that work...

Also, VirtualBoyAdvance is a great emulator for mac (but I use it on my xp now because my screen is bigger) besides the link you posted here is good source for emus www.zophar.net (http://www.zophar.net) :)
