What you'll be doing:
Design, develop and maintain "client - server" based FileMaker tools.
Responsible for all phases of FileMaker development processes, including user requirements, job estimates, project management, code development, testing, implementation, training, documentation and maintenance.
Support, troubleshoot, and maintain existing FileMaker solutions.
Provide advanced level support to our FileMaker solutions users.
Provide training and GUI tools to assist the IT team to support our Filemaker solutions users.
Maintain, manage and document FileMaker solutions, servers, and related hardware and software.
What you'll need:
Demonstrated experience in the design, development, modification and implementation of FileMaker 7/8 solutions.
Strong Layout and User Interface design skills.
Strong Project Management skills with ability to determine scope and meet deadlines.
Advanced understanding and experience with Mac OS X.
Solid understanding of relational database theory and information technology processes.
Experience managing FileMaker Servers and solutions involving multi-table, mission-critical solutions in a network enterprise environment.
Excellent communication skills (written and presentation).
Ability to meet with users to define their needs and develop requirements documentation.
FileMaker 7 or 8 certification is desirable.
Working knowledge of the following technologies a plus: PHP, XML, SQL, AppleScript, Shell Scripts, Mac OS X Server and Windows 2003 Server.
