Eduweb, an interactive media developer with a 10-year track record in innovative learning games, is looking for a talented game programmer to develop 3D learning games about nature, science and history using Unity (http://www.unity3d.com), a Mac-only best of breed game authoring IDE.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of programming experience
• Experience with computer game development, particularly AI programming, including Finite State Machines and NPC steering behaviors.
• Expertise with C#, object-oriented javascript, and vector math
• Knowledge of Unity game authoring app (or at least other 3D game development tools such as Torque or Virtools)
• Expertise with networking layer programming
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Maya or 3DS Studio Max
• Knowledge of best practices to ensure high-performing, easy to reuse code.
• Proficiency with Mac OS X
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Passion for both game development and realworld subject matter
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with designers, artists, and non-technical people
